Inspirational Photography

Last Thursday, my EPE Prof. showed us a fantastic video, by Chris Jordan, on TED TalksChris is a photographer who creates art to address problems in our society; he uses visual symbolism/literacy to build awareness and critical thought about our world.   Here is his video, on Ted Talks, where he discusses issues including addictions, body image, and the environment.  Chris’s talk was so engaging I watched it twice, and I don’t usually watch anything twice.  Anyone can be a photographer, but not often have I seen deeper messages communicated through photography – to view the video just click here.
